The Late Late Toy Show – which we all know is the official beginning of Christmas – is fast approaching, and Ryan Tubridy has been revealing what we can all expect for this year’s show.
The show airs on Friday, November 27th, and Ryan has admitted that this year has a very definitive theme, although he won’t say what it is just yet.
“I’m not going to tell you that…but on the last Toy show, after the show finished I said to the lads ‘I have next year’s theme already’,” he told Goss.ie.
“I did it [created the theme] the year before, I’m so passionate about the Toy show so they said ‘OK’ then we thrashed things around a bit so I said ‘are we OK? Are we going to do this?’ and they said ‘yes’.
“So it’s a movie and a book and that’s all your getting,” he said.
He added that his infamous Christmas jumper will be making a return – and is expected to be even more outrageous than ever.
“There is something happening in jumper land that I didn’t think was possible so I say to those that give a flying flute about jumpers, standby. Prepare for the horror that awaits,” he teased.
Meanwhile, Maria Walsh and Brian Ormond were revealed as the hosts of the TV3 Toy Show yesterday, replacing Brian McFadden and Karen Koster.
