It feels like Love Island just finished up for the summer with Ekin-Su and Davide being crowned the winners of the series.
But now the show is set to return for its second-ever winter series!
It will be a massive shake-up as Laura Whitmore announced in the summer that she would be stepping down as the presenter. Maya Jama will step into the role, to the delight of fans.
But when will Winter Love Island kick off?
The Winter Love Island series’ start date will be on Monday, January 16th.
In a cheeky Instagram post on their official account, they asked followers to pause the video when the mechanical bull was lined up with its outline.
If you managed to pause it correctly, the date of the show’s return popped up. So you had to be pretty nifty with those fingers.
Not only do we have a start date The Sun has reported that finale date will take place eight weeks later on March 13th!

It comes after it was revealed that the show would have a massive shakeup when it comes to social media.
Unlike previous years, none of the friends and families of this year’s islanders will be allowed to post on contestants’ social media throughout the duration of the show.
Islanders are this year being asked to pause their Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook accounts while in the villa as part of the show’s new updated duty of care.
This shift aims to protect friends and family from trolling or abusive content while the show is airing, while also ensuring that islanders are not exposed to it immediately after leaving the villa.
The first winter series took place in 2020, ending just weeks before the world went into lockdown due to COVID-19. Unfortunately, plans for a 2021 series were shelved.
However, after the impressive surge of viewers of the 2022 summer series, ITV confirmed that winter Love Island would be back with a bang.
We can’t wait!
