Robbie Keane made history last night as the first Irishman to scoop an ESPY award, and along with his stunning wife Claudine, he made sure to celebrate in style.
The glamorous couple hit the red carpet in Los Angeles for the Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards, where the soccer star won the award for the Best MLS Player. It was the first time anyone from Ireland won an ESPY Award.
His former beauty queen wife was evidently hugely proud of Robbie’s achievement, and shared a number of pics of the pair on Twitter, showing off a seriously stunning black flowing gown with cut-out neckline and an Alexander McQueen clutch. She kept her hair slicked back and make up smoky and minimal.
Robbie also looked dashing in his royal blue suit, and the couple also took their adorable son Robbie Jnr along to rejoice at his dad’s win, with Claudine posting that he was feeling “so excited”.
However, we doubt the little boy (6) joined his gorgeous parents for the afterparty, which was sure to be packed with A-list celebrities. Caitlyn Jenner and the Kardashian clan attended the event, where she accepted the Arthur Ashe Courage Award for her transgender journey. Britney Spears, Rachel McAdams and Jake Gyllenhaal were also in attendance.
The couple must be getting used to American showbiz bashes now, though – just recently they dined with Stephen Gerrard and Niall Horan and back in February they attended Grammys at the Staples Center. Not bad, ay?!
