It’s almost time!
Westlife are back with new music and we have gotten our first sneak peek into their new sound.
Their Instagram page released a snippet from an upcoming release and we want more already!
It’s just an instrumental intro but it’s enough to get us fans excited, the imagery is a dreamy sky with pink clouds floating by, which is now their Instagram icon, could this be the album cover art?
The caption reads, “Could it be, could it be the start of something…?”
The band have been busy working on new music during the pandemic, this could be their first chance to debut it to a live audience.

You may have seen some cheeky snaps from inside the recording studio as they get started on some new tracks.
Shane Filan shared some snaps from the recording booth and Nicky also posted some and appears to be working from a home studio, both looking very excited!
Sharing the snap to social media Nicky wasn’t giving too much away as he said; “Song is called #@#@#@#@# You’re gonna love it!! @westlife #NewAlbum”.
Ed Sheeran has also revealed he’s been helping the band put their album together, we are very excited to see what’s to come.
They recently reuinited for pints for the first time since before the pandemic, the four of them looked delighted to be together again sharing a cute group picture, to the delight of fans.
The caption reads, “A good ‘old fashioned’ catch up after 514 days apart! Great to be back together 🎶☘️”.
Hopefully now that they’ve got a taste for the live music scene again they will play plenty of gigs in Ireland when concerts are back open!
