Stephanie Davis has shared an emotional song which she penned herself.
The star revealed that she wrote the ballad while in rehab last November.
The actress, who has had a turbulent relationship with Jeremy McConnell who is the father of her child, gets honest in the song.
Sharing several videos on Instagram Stephanie reveals: “Writing music is very therapeutic to me, I love writing pure and honest from the heart about how I feel.
“I’m no piano player but you get the jist! so proud to see how far I’ve come from the empty shell I once was. I love music. I lost meself trying to save you, I held your hand for dear life.”
The song includes lyrics such as: “Don’t know what’s going on in your life, maybe the timing isn’t right.” “I helped you, how can you say that I left you,”
As well as: “Do not say that I did not care, losing you was my worst nightmare. “But I have to let go because missing you so hurts so much so I say goodbye love.”
The lyrics led fans to believe the song is about ex Jeremy McConnell.
Jeremy served time in prison for assaulting Stephanie.
“Is this about jeremy” one person asked.
“@jeremymcconnellcooke needs to listen to this!” another said.
“It takes alot to walk away from someone you love an adore… I hope you really are healed inside and I hope Jeremy gets the help he needs as well cause his little boy will need him as well not now because he’s messed up but in time x” a third person added.
Jeremy appeared on The Jeremy Kyle show on Wednesday, where he spoke about Stephanie and his son Caben as well as his drug abuse and criminal conviction.
Fans are convinced that this is why Stephanie posted her song.
“Was this posted because she new he was going on the Jeremy Kyle show, done great on the song though and have good voice.”
This is not the first time the actress has shown off her singing skills.
She appeared on reality show Over the Rainbow in 2010, which focused on finding a lead to play Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz.
Stephanie hasn’t shown off her vocal range much recently however, but fans love this song!
