Virgin Media Televison have announced a brand new entertainment show coming to screens very soon. Revealing the news that filming has begun here in Ireland today, the show which is called ‘The Big Deal’ will feature a whole host of famous faces.
It’s set to be an exciting line-up as Boy George, Vogue Williams, Aston Merrygold, Deirdre O’Kane and Lyra are featuring in the new show.
The program is described as showcasing a variety of acts, from musicians, magicians, comedians, dancers, acrobats and whatever else will entertain the nation. What they all need to have in common is the ability to make jaws drop, hearts race and maybe even get the audience to tear up.
Then, once they’ve finished performing, they are each offered a deal, they can either accept a cash buyout and leave the competition with a sum of money, or they can reject the offer and hope they’ve impressed the judges enough to progress through to the final and the chance to win a life-changing prize pot.
Howth native, Vogue Williams will be hosting the show as Boy George, Deirdre O’Kane, Aston Merrygold, Lyra and Jedward make up the judging panel.
Filming for the show is already underway in Dublin’s 3Area. Speaking about the program Bill Malone, Director of Content, Virgin Media Television said; “The Big Deal is a spectacular new entertainment show filming in Dublin’s 3Arena and is on a scale not seen in Ireland before.”

The program is set to hit screens this autumn.
