The Late Late Show has suffered a major blow today after it was announced that one of it’s star guests had to pull out last minute.
Independent TD John Halligan was due to join Ryan on the couch to discuss the ongoing row over a second ‘cath lab’ facility at University Hospital Waterford but he has suddenly pulled out ahead of the show tonight.
A spokesperson for RTÉ told The Irish Independent that the minister had contacted show producers on Thursday morning to let them know he would not be coming on the programme.
Although the politician did not give details as to why he wouldn’t be appearing on the show, he said he would not be taking part “as is his perorgative.”
This may come as a blow to those who were hoping to hear John voice his opinion on the second ‘cath lab’, but we’ve no doubt adventurer Bear Grylls, Wedding Crashers star Jane Seymour and Irish DJ B.P. Fallon will do their best to make up for his absence!
