Tom Jones to play Irish gig with Nile Rodgers & CHIC

Mark your calendars ladies as the one and only Tom Jones is coming to Ireland.

It’s not unusual to get excited about the man himself.

But he’s not alone! He will be joined by Nile Rodgers & CHIC for one night and one night only!

They’re bringing their show to St Anne’s Park, Dublin, on Sunday 9th June 2024.

Legendary Welsh singer and performer Sir Tom Jones continues to sustain his popularity around the world, captivating audiences with his timeless discography of hit songs and enduring talent and charisma.

With a remarkable career spanning over six decades, the 83-year-old is widely considered to be one of the greatest singers and recording artists of all time, selling over 100 million records and continuing as an esteemed and influential figure in the music industry.

Nile Rodgers is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee and multiple Grammy Award-winning songwriter, composer, producer, arranger, and guitarist.

In 2023 he became the first creator to be awarded a Lifetime Achievement Grammy for his legacy in the same year as being awarded a Grammy for his new work with Beyoncé on the smash hit Cuff It.

As the Co-founder of CHIC, Nile pioneered a musical language that generated chart-topping hits like “Le Freak”, the biggest-selling single in the history of Atlantic Records, Everybody Dance, I Want Your Love, Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah) and sparked the advent of hip-hop with Good Times and Rapper’s Delight.
