The Wolfe Tones announce major gig for 2024

The Wolfe Tones broke records at Electric Picnic over the weekend as thousands flocked to watch the traditional Irish band perform.

And they’re going to continue the high as they have just announced a huge gig!

The band will play the 3Arena next October to the delight of fans.

The gig will mark the band’s 60th anniversary, an impressive milestone that they will celebrate in 2024.

They will take to the stage on the 12th of October 2024.

And with over 10,000 people gathering to watch them perform at the music festival, these tickets are sure to sell like hotcakes.

The capacity of the 3Arena is 13,000 so it looks like there may be demand for another night with the band!

The Wolfe Tones played in Electric Picnic’s  Electric Arena tent on Sunday night and festival goers flocked to watch them, with crowds spilling out of the tent.

In fact, organisers have said the 10,000 plus spectators is a record-breaking figure for a non-main stage act in the festival’s 19-year history.

The band is comprised of Brian Warfield, Noel Nagle, and Tommy Byrne who will take to the stage next year.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday at 9am from ticketmaster.ie with prices starting at €46.20.
