Earlier this week, we were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at Aisling Bea’s new movie, Greatest Days based on the Take That stage musical The Band.

Now, however, the cast and crew have decided to tease us even more by releasing the movie’s official trailer.

Taking to Instagram to share the exciting news the Irish actress and comedian wrote: “Sound on! Here she blows! The official trailer for #greatestdays I hope it gets you bopping & up on your feet.

“So many lovely people worked so very hard to bring this big project together with small amounts of time,” she concluded.

Fans and friends were quick to share their excitement with one commenting: “One for the calendar.”

“Girls’ night for this one. I love Take That and this cast,” wrote another.

While Dawn French commented: “CAN NOT WAIT.”

The movie follows five best friends who have the night of their lives seeing their favourite boy band in concert and 25 years later, the friends reunite for one more epic show by their beloved band to hopefully relight their friendship.

Featuring some of Take That’s biggest hits including Greatest Day, Patience, Back For Good, A Million Love Songs and Shine, the story reignites lost friendships and discovers hope for their futures in a feel-good tale about love and music.

The film is directed by Coky Giedroyc and written by Tim Firth – the author of the novel that inspired the musical.

Greatest Days hit UK and Irish cinemas on 16 June with a nationwide live premiere event on 15 June.
