Ryan Tubridy is back for his first Late Late Show of 2017, and it’s set to be a great one. The host will chat to the stars of new RTE drama Striking Out, and to some of the celebs preparing to battle it out for the glitter ball on Dancing With The Stars.

Amy Huberman and Neil Morrissey will be in studio to chat about their hit new legal drama Striking Out. Amy will be talking about life as one of the most famous women in Ireland and some exciting new projects she has on the horizon, while Neil will tell viewers about his journey from very humble beginnings to becoming one of the biggest names on British television.

She’ll be discussing what it was like to cover the Trump campaign, where it went wrong for Hillary Clinton, how things are shaping up now and what it all means for the undocumented Irish still living there.

Ryan will be chatting about what the new year may bring with actor Michael Harding, The Rubberbandits’ Blindboy and Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope writer Stefanie Preissner.

Music will be provided by singer Connor McKeon, who will pay tribute to the music icons we lost in 2016 with a very special performance. Country music star Derek Ryan will be in studio too with his latest hit.

You can catch The Late Late Show this Friday, at 9.35pm on RTÉ One
