Supervalu has issued warning over a new text scam doing the rounds.
The message, which being sent to random people around the country, reads: “Well done. You secure the 6th place in our Supervalu Eircode Draw. Collect it here. Your customer no: Supervaly-982-12-11.”
The text also contains a link, which Supervalu are urging people not to click.
Taking to social media, a spokesperson for the store said, “This is a scam and has not been sent from SuperValu.
They added, “Please don’t interact with it and just delete it from your phone.”
