Aoife Walsh turned heads recently at the launch of the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards in Cafe en Seine.
The blogger and former Miss Ireland is nominated for Look of the Year at this year’s awards, and if this outfit is anything to go by, she’ll be giving her competitors a run for their money!
Aoife made quite the entrance in a stunning baby blue dress by Self Portrait, which contrasted beautifully with her red locks.
The gorgeous guna comes in a chiffon material, with peplum detail at the waist and a lace panel below the knee.
Such intricate details mean this dress is on the pricier side, at £340 from Self Portrait Studio’s website.
If your budget doesn’t stretch that far, here are four alternatives to Aoife’s flirty and feminine midi…
ASOS, €103.69
This first guna is equally as beautiful as Aoife’s, at a fraction of the price.
Featuring a tulle material, this maxi dress is a similar pretty blue shade to Aoife’s, with a bardot neckline and ruffle detail on the sleeves.
Pair with nude sandals and a white blazer jacket (to ward off the spring chill) for your next event.
& Other Stories, €89
Next up, we have this gorgeous midi dress from high-street hero, & Other Stories.
Though it’s quite different to the original look, this dress comes in a similar colour and features a puff sleeve, much like Aoife’s ensemble.
Pair with white boots and a cosy coat for daytime at the office, or with your favourite stilettos and some statement jewellery for a night out on the town.
Nasty Gal, €21
Feel like going a little sexier with your LBD (Little Blue Dress)? Why not try a bodycon fit in baby blue, a la this guna from Nasty Gal?
Featuring a lace material that picks up the trim on Aoife’s dress, all eyes will be on you when you rock up to a spring event in this fabulous dress.
ASOS, €53.92
If you’re looking for a more casual take on spring blues, check out this floral print beauty from ASOS.
It has a similar neckline and sleeves to Aoife’s dress, but features pretty flowers and a subtle slit for a casual daytime look.
Pair with some booties and a mini bag for a fashion-forward take on spring florals.
Will you be trying out Aoife’s blue look?
