Holly Carpenter has revealed that she often gets sent inappropriate photographs over social media app Snapchat.
The 23-year-old became a Snapchat sensation after a blog post she created about the app went viral, which has brought with it a risk of it’s own. But the top model knows how to deal with it.
Speaking at the celebration of Häagen-Dazs’ #RealorNothing campaign today, the Andrea Roche beauty said “anyone that sends me any kind of graphic Snapchat I just block them. But now I have 25,000 of them (followers) so they are all randomers. It’s gross”.
It’s not the first time that Holly has had trouble with social media as recently she was targeted by someone who was pretending to be her and sending around naked photographs.
“I’m still having to deal with that its really annoying. I put up a selfie on instagram last week and they changed their whatsapp photo to that selfie so they are clearly still texting people pretending to be me. It’s gone to the guards now but its really hard”, she revealed
Although the Dublin native is well used to Snapchat and Instagram, dating app Tinder is one social media app that she wont be using in a hurry.
“I think I would be a bit nervous that someone would be full of chat online and really funny and then you meet them and they have no personality or anything or sense of humour. I’d rather go on a date with a guy I was friends with first,” she told Goss.ie
