Sinead Kennedy has been on our tellys for years now and she loves her job, but the TV star is making it clear she only enjoys the spotlight in certain scenarios and a reality show is not it.

According to the Irish Mirror Sinead won’t be appearing on celeb reality shows such as Dancing With The Stars or I’m A Celeb, “I don’t want to be on reality TV. I wouldn’t do anything. I love my job, but I feel like my job for me is very much TV presenter or TV Reporter, documentary producer…… I’m not interested in that (reality TV) side.”

Sinead is currently on our screens presenting The Today Show with Daithi O Se, who she gushed about to he Irish Mirror, “I love my job. Working Daithi… he is an absolute screamer. I go into work and I laugh all day long.. he is the exact same all day long.”

So, Sinead is happy out where she is, but there is one show she’d love to return to…“If I could do Winning Streak again with Marty, I would, I absolutely love it,” she said.

“It’s such a gorgeous feel good show, everyone asks because everybody misses it so I totally get it, but we don’t know [if it will return]” she explained.

The presenter also shared that these days she isn’t putting as much pressure on her career, “You relax more. Even when you’re on other gigs and you could love the gig but you’re kind of always wondering what’s the next gig – I’m not like that anymore. I’m just enjoying it.”

Sinead is also a mother to her daughter Indie who she shares with her husband Conor Kirwin and although Conor has to be away for work a lot the family are looking forward to the day that their distance is no more, she told Magazine+ earlier this year, “We’ve been doing this for quite some time and it just gets harder as [Indie] gets older, I think because she’s more aware of what’s going on.

“She misses him and of course, he misses her — he always missed her — but I think she’s more aware of missing him now that she’s that little bit older.

“It’s nice to know that kind of over and back, to-and-fro, and not seeing each other and him and Indie not seeing each other every day will not be forever, thank God.”
