Westlife have been on the scene since 1998, but the band is just after accomplishing one of their longtime goals as they played a sold out show in London’s Wembley Stadium.
Shane Filan shared his joy following their concert in the iconic venue. Taking to Instagram, he shared a snap of himself and his bandmates on the Wembley stage.
Captioning the post: “So last night we played Wembley Stadium….It truly was the most incredible night”
Continuing on, he thanked their loyal fans for turning up and supporting them.
Writing, “It really did take our breath away ..to all our fans who came from all over the world to see us thankyou & we love you”
Admitting that playing in the venue was a dream of the bands.
Confessing, “A dream come true for 4 Irish boys..A concert we will talk about for the rest of our lives.”
Prior to their gig, the other lads shared their excitement to be performing in Webley.
Kian Egan wrote, “[Wembley Stadium] we are ready! Are you !!!!”
Nicky Byrne shared a snap of the packed venue, tagging Wembley Stadium.
While Mark Feehily posted a behind the scene glimpse of the band backstage, captioning it, “The calm before the storm! Are you all ready!?”
