Shane Filan was one doting dad as he celebrated his son Patrick’s 15th birthday.
The Sligo native is currently in Changsha, China, touring with Westlife. But that didn’t stop him from celebrating his son’s big day, and making it as special as possible.
Taking to the stage, Shane addressed the audience, saying: “I need to do a video for my son Patrick. It’s his birthday today, he is 15-years-old today, and I can’t be there obviously.”
“But I’m here with all my friends in Changsha, and I’d like to sing Happy Birthday to my son and I need you to help me, is that okay?”
Shane then led the audience in a rendition of the Happy Birthday song.

The touching moment was filmed by Shane’s Westlife bandmate Nicky Byrne, who concluded the video saying: “Happy birthday Patrick.”
Shane shared the sweet clip on Instagram, writing: “Happy Birthday Patrick all the way from China! Thank you Changsha for making this video special for my son.”
The beautiful tribute went down a treat with followers, as fans took to the comments to rave about the sweet gesture.
Shane’s Westlife bandmate were also quick to send their birthday wishes.
