It was a holly jolly Christmas for Sarah Jessica Parker as the actress enjoyed a secret trip to Ireland over the Christmas holidays.
She and husband Matthew Broderick often visit our Emerald Isle for their getaways, with the couple owning a holiday home in Donegal that has been in Matthew’s family for generations.
Their trip took place sometime in the last week as SJP took to Instagram to say farewell to her beloved Ireland late last night.
Sharing a snap of a rainbow from their trip, she captioned her post: ” Thank you Ireland. It was a happy. Always hard to leave. But you sent us off nice. X,SJ”

This wasn’t Sarah’s first trip to Ireland of the year, as she and her family visited back in August as well.
It was during her most recent trip that SJP stopped by Dublin’s SOUP 2 restaurant. Noticing how overwhelmed the staff was, the actress kindly offered her services, volunteering to help out in the kitchen.
Restaurant owner Conor Hughes told HELLO!: ” Sarah was one of the nicest customers I’ve had in a while.”
Continuing: “She noticed we were super busy, asked if I was short-staffed, and jokingly offered to help in the kitchen, as I was cooking and running food!”
“She seemed to know a lot about our business, and clearly had done her due diligence.”
Connor also revealed, she visited their business with her husband Matthew and their children, James,19 and 12-year-old twins, Marion and Tabitha.

Connor also shared how kind Sarah and Matthew were to fans, explaining how the famous couple “were happy to converse with anyone and everyone.”
One costumer even bought Sarah a cocktail which she greatly appreciated.
It’s seems the family holiday has come to an end, and they are back in the US but here’s hoping they visit again soon.
