It’s been just over a week since Ryan Tubridy stepped down as host of The Late Late Show and it’s safe to say the presenter has been enjoying his downtime.

After 15 years as the host of Ireland’s national talk show, Ryan received plenty of video messages for his final gig, including a shout-out from Bono and The Edge, who also gifted the host a brand-new Vespa.

His last show, which aired on Friday, 26th May went out with a bang and featured appearances from the President of Ireland Michael D Higgins as well as kids from many of the Toy Shows he had presented.

Since wrapping, Ryan decided to take some well-deserved time off and headed out west for a week of sun and relaxation.

Ryan then joked about getting older, admitting: “I’m in my 50s and out of a job.”

He also shared that he would reveal what exactly he got up to on his holiday out west in the coming days.
