The producer of The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst, Marc Smerling will be speaking at the Mediacon Summit in Dublin Castle tomorrow.
Marc produced and shot the infamous documentary, about the heir to a Manhattan real estate fortune suspected of three murders over thirty years. The accomplished producer was nominated for an Emmy for cinematography and won an Emmy for Best Documentary Series. The Jinx also won for Best Editing and many other awards including a Peabody.
The American producer is also well known for producing the controversial documentary, “Capturing the Friedmans,” (2003) winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary.
Marc will be speaking as part of the Mediacon Summit that’s taking place from September 13th-14th at Dublin Castle.
