Pixie Lott is coming to the Emerald Isle, and one of the first things on her agenda is to find an old Irish pub where she can sing and dance.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star will be over to act in Breakfast at Tiffany’s in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, but can’t wait to explore Ireland during her free time.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, Pixie said, “Last time I was over, we went to Johnny Foxes and saw some Irish dancing. I love little Irish pubs where people get together and sing. I’m excited to get back and get into all of that.
“We’ll be there for a week. Usually when I come it’s just a couple of days. I’m excited. I’m going to able to explore, especially during the day.
“My granddad’s family is Irish, and my dad’s family is Irish. I’ve been there loads. We really like it. I’ve so many friends there, and I love it.”
The singer will be here from June 13- June 18, as she takes on the lead role of Holly Golightly in the hit stage show, Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Pixie said, “A lot of people might not realise, but this show is based off the original story, not the movie.
“They changed it for the movie. It’s going to stay true to the original which is exciting. It’s set in the 40’s instead of the 60’s, which is when it was written.
“We’ve had so much fun and I’ve leaned so much. I love playing Holly.”
Tickets for the show can be purchased through all Ticketmaster outlets, and prices start from €17.50.
