Patrick Kielty will take to The Late Late Show hot seat in September.
While we’re all still enjoying the summer months, work is already underway to make his debut absolutely perfect.
Of course, his first guests have to be the cream of the crop.
And if the rumours are to be believed then they certainly won’t disappoint.
It looks like sports stars are the most likely to sit on the couch and chat to Patrick for his first show.
The one and only Roy Keane looks like he will be among the first set of guests, with the bookies putting 4/1 odds on the Cork native to feature on the show.
His former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, is also tipped to appear, with 5/1 odds being placed on the sports icon.
Rory McIlroy is also a favourite to chat to Patrick at 12/1 and Katie Taylor is also in the mix with odds of 4/1.
It’s not all sports as there are some Hollywood stars in the mix.
Actos Jamie Dornan and Liam Neeson are also favourites to feature at 5/4 and 4/1 respectively.
Saoirse Ronan (5/2) Christy Moore (5/2) and Daniel O’Donnell (3/1) are also in the top five most likely first guests, along with Roy Keane and Jamie Dornan, according to Boylesports.
Lawrence Lyons, a spokesperson for the betting company said: “Guests are a well-guarded secret until late late in the day, but with Roy Keane and Jamie Dornan in the frame we’re expecting a star-studded green room on Paddy Kielty’s first night.”
Well we hope it is just this exciting.
