Canadian singer Grimes has apologised to fans who attended her gig last night in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre.

The ‘Oblivion’ star explained that faults with her performance were down to technical issues, and she even claimed she was electrocuted on stage.

Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, tweeted that she was sorry for the concert to all who attended, blaming a faulty effects pedal.

She tweeted: “Dublin! 1 mil apologies that my pedal failed and I was electrocuted, but there r tears in my eyes that y’all were so so wonderful.”

She later deleted the Twitter post, but later Instagrammed a screen grab from the Simpsons, which showed an employee of Mr. Burns’ Nuclear Power Plant holding onto high voltage wires.

“Appreciating every1 who tweeted this at me today haha. Thank u thank u Dublin for being sweet and kind,” she captioned the image.
