Screen Shot 2016-09-25 at 12.49.26 Ahead of starting her own radio show on Newstalk, Operation Transformation’s Dr. Ciara Kelly has revealed that she would like legendary broadcaster, Marian Finucane’s job.

After finishing up Celebrity Operation Transformation last week, the show’s resident doctor is getting ready to start her own show on Newstalk and she can’t wait to start her dream job as a broadcaster.

“The fact that I am about to launch my own radio show on Newstalk is exciting because – if I ever had any dream or goal in life – it would have been two things: to have a radio show, because I just love talking to people, and to write a book.” she told the Irish Independent.

“It feels brilliant. I actually feel like I am on an adventure in my life.”

However, when asked about her ultimate goal she admitted that she has her eyes on Marian Finucane’s job.

“I’d like Marian Finucane’s job.” she said.

When speaking about being recognised in public after Operation Transformation’s huge success, Ciara says that she presumes no one recognises her.

“I exist in my own little bubble,” she said. “I walk in and my friends and family will always say, ‘Oh there is someone looking over’ and I say, ‘No, no, nobody knows who I am and as far as I am concerned, nobody knows who I am and nobody recognises me.”

Alive and Kicking with Ciara Kelly’ starts next Sunday on Newstalk from 9am to 10am.
