Operation Transformation viewers praise “inspirational” Marie

Viewers were absolutely blown away by Operation Transformation leader Marie on this week’s show.

They branded her “inspirational” as she opened up about her journey on the show.

Marie lives with her mum Angela in Cashel, Co Tipperary and works part-time as an SNA with children living with disabilities.

She admitted that taking part in the show had become overwhelming for her.

She said: “I woke up this morning and feel totally emotional, maybe it’s all overwhelming and it’s starting to hit me now I don’t know.

“I hope everyone will be kind. I’m putting myself out there. I’m doing this for myself actually so I’m not even going to think about it. But just be kind with your comments.”

She was moved to tears as she confessed: “When I see myself, I see my double chin, I see my hands. I hate looking at my own hands.

“I’ve always avoided looking at myself but do you know what, I’m in the right place now and I’m here to change.

“I’ll have everyone that I need around me but yeah, I am scared when I just saw myself there. I’m strong enough to get through it all.”

Twitter was in Marie’s corner, telling her incredible she is.

Marie lost a total 4lbs during the week much to her delight.
