Nicola Hughes has revealed some exciting career plans, admitting she’s designing a brand new clothing range as well as dabbling in some presenting work.

The Irish model, who recently departed from Made in Chelsea, is thrilled to be doing something different, and can’t wait to share her designs with the world.

Speaking to VIP Magazine today, she said, “I’m doing a bit of presenting at the moment, and my clothing range as well, which is coming out quite soon.

“It’s for a boutique shop. It’s really fun because I got to design my own stuff as opposed to putting my name to a brand.”

Nicola remained coy about the type of clothing which will be available, however did reveal the items she’d be most likely to purchase herself, hinting at what may be in store.

She said, “You’ll have to wait and see. I’m not much of a little dress girl. I like suits, trousers and shorts.”

Besides designing, Nicola is also planning on branching out into the world of presenting.

She told VIP Magazine, “I can’t say too much, because it’s going to follow the collaboration but presenting is one of the options of what I’ll do. I shouldn’t be saying this. I can’t say any more. A few different things are going on.”

This isn’t something entirely new for Nicola, as she previously appeared as a guest host on Xpose for a brief period of time.

She said, “It was about a year ago. I was so scared. I was literally terrified. I was fine originally and then I went on camera. I thought, ‘Oh God,’ I don’t know what I’m doing. I did presenting before in Vancouver and then here for Balcony TV, but haven’t done it in so long.”

The Dubliner was home in Ireland today to promote the new InStyler Straight Up Straightening Brush, which is available for €69.99.
