Nicky Byrne honours daughter Gia during a Westlife gig after she won big at an Irish dancing competition

Nicky Byrne is one doting dad, even when he is on tour.

The Dubliner is currently travelling around Asia, for Westlife’s latest tour. But even though he is far from his family, that hasn’t stopped him from celebrating his daughter Gia’s big achievement.

His youngest child won two title at her Irish dancing competition, and Nicky decided to celebrate on stage while performing with the group in Indonesia.

Sharing a video of the sweet moment, the packed stadium is heard shouting: “Well done Gia!” before the camera turns to Nicky, who said: “Well done baby!”
