It looks like another big shakeup is in store.
RTÉ has reported that Kieran Cuddihy is due to leave Newstalk and join RTÉ Radio.
They report that an email was sent by senior management at the radio station that confirmed Kieran’s departure, stating that his last day was Thursday.
Kieran has been working as a broadcaster since 2011 and took over on Newstalk’s current affair programme, The Hard Shoulder, in 2020.

He stepped into Ivan Yates’ shoes after the iconic broadcaster left.
Kieran also hosts Virgin Media’s The Tonight Show every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10pm.
It comes after Ray D’Arcy announced his departure from the radio station.
After over 11 years on RTÉ Radio 1, The Ray D’Arcy Show came to an end with the veteran broadcaster hosting his final show on Wednesday.

RTÉ’s Director of Audio, Patricia Monahan, said: “I would like to sincerely thank Ray for his contribution to RTÉ Radio 1 over the last eleven years. While The Ray D’Arcy Show is not part of our future plans, we wish him well in his future endeavours.”
It has not been confirmed who will take over for Ray, however, Shay Byrne will present for the remainder of the week.
Rumours have swirled that Kieran could take over Liveline following Joe Duffy’s retirement in the summer.
We’ll keep our eyes peeled.
