Muireann O’Connell has been careful to keep her fiancé out of the spotlight.
She affectionately refers to him as “the roommate” when speaking about in public.
Over the weekend, she attended Jennifer Rock and Jill Deering’s dream wedding.
And she was joined by “the roommate” himself and he even made it to Instagram.

Muireann shared some gorgeous snaps from the wedding. She channelled her inner Barbie as she wore a hot pink mini dress with bow details over the bodice she procured from The 105 Fashion Rental.
For day two she opted for a leopard print slip dress and she posted a snap with herself and the “ridey brideys” along with her fiancé.
Jennifer put her hand over Muireann’s fiancé’s face for the snap with one follower joking: “Protecting housemates identity”.

Muireann previously opened up to VIP Magazine about her relationship and the reason why she chooses to keep things out of the public eye.
“An awful lot of people have an issue with the fact I call him the housemate. This is not my decision, that is his decision,” she told us.
“He doesn’t want his name out there. He doesn’t want to be fodder, he doesn’t want to be on Instagram, he doesn’t want me to be chatting about him on telly. That’s his issue, so I just have to respect that.”
She went on to joke that she doesn’t have him “locked up in a little box being like, ‘Hi housemate you can never leave this place.’”.
“He is a very strong man, in his own right. I do think I am very, very lucky in finding someone like him who can put up with a useless fecker like me.”
The Ireland AM host admits that she is “disorganised” and hates planning things like holidays as that “feels like work”.
“So he does all of that. He does all the cooking. I don’t cook at all. He’s amazing. He does meal prepping because I eat quite early in the day because I have to go to bed,” she explained.
“He is truly, truly a wonderful human being. We laugh all the time. I have never laughed with someone more than I do with him. I love that, I love that we laugh together. I love him for that.”
