Michael Flatley was in flying form when he walked the red carpet to celebrate 25 years of The Lord of the Dance.

It’s the most iconic stage show to come out of Ireland ever! Following the initial performance in The Point in 1996, the show has gone on to be seen by over 60 million people, across 60 different countries across the globe.

When VIP Magazine got to catch up with Michael on the red carpet, he was beaming from ear to ear.

“I’m feeling good. I’m feeling strong,” he tells us.

“I’m still standing! I’m a fighter and I’m not giving up. I will beat this, absolutely.”

Earlier this year, Michael announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer.

His team released a short statement updating fans on his health and revealing he has already undergone surgery.

As their statement read: “Dear friends, we have something personal to share. Michael Flatley has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.
