Melanie Murphy tied the knot during the pandemic with just five people to witness the registry, but today is the day she gets the dream wedding she’s been looking forward to with all of her friends and family.
Sharing updates ahead of the big occasion, the bride seems calm and collected and just looking forward to the celebration.
On her Instagram stories the author explained, “Yesterday we removed our wedding rings lol…it will be so amazing to finally get to put them on/to say vows in front of everyone we care about!
“Only five people could be at the registry office with us right at the beginning of Covid and I was so sad to be unable to celebrate with close friends…my SISTER. So many people who will be part of our married life, BUZZING.”
In another story Melanie shared how grateful she felt to not feel pressure about the big day, “Imagine not having carbs just to fit into a dress!? I hate that I grew up in a world where there was such pressure around ‘the wedding day'”
The couple are celebrating their marriage in front of their friends and family at Ballybeg House in County Wicklow today.
We cannot wait to see her dress!
