Maura Higgins is the ultimate It Girl. Finding success in the modelling world, reality TV landscape, and most recently launched her American takeover, landing the role of social ambassador for Love Island USA.
And now another big career change is in store for the Longford lady, as Maura has announced her first venture into the acting world.
Sharing the news on IG, she teased: “Script reading on my flight… today I’m going to be an actress.”
“Btw I have never acted in my whole life so this will be very interesting.”
Maura also shared a glimpse at her script but blanked out some of the major details.
While there are no details on what project Maura is hoping to snag a role in, earlier this year she met with several American TV studios.
In May, the model headed to Hollywood, keeping followers updated on her visit through her social media. But on her IG stories, Maura may have hinted at the motivation behind her visit to La La Land.

Sharing then shared a snap of a board room set up for a business meeting. Writing: “BIG day” tagging US media company NBC Universal.
NBC Universal are the owners of some of America’s biggest media companies. Including Peacock, who host Love Island USA.
So maybe while stateside, Maura made some connections? They also own animation production company DreamWorks, she perhaps some voice over work for the Love Island star?
As well as Universal Studios, SYFY, USA, and of course, NBC.
