Martin King and Jenny McCarthy are the picture of love as they chat to us (and each other) on the Platinum VIP Style Awards red carpet.
“I took the radio off today because it was under strict instructions from her ladyship that we had to be here by 6.30pm,” Martin jokes as Jenny gets her pictures taken.
“The radio show is until 7pm and it’s live, so I had no choice. I had to take the radio show off today but it worked! I was able to sit in front of the TV and watch Celtic win against Hearts, watch the FA Cup final, and now we’re at the style awards. We’re here and looking forward to a big night, great night.”
And sure we couldn’t think of a better way to spend the day.

Of course, Jenny is a busy woman as we move into wedding season – her diary is jam-packed.
Martin teases: “It’s her ladyship who’s far busier than I could ever be.”
Always humble, Jenny is quick to say “that’s not true”.
“Martin stays at home during the week, and he does all the housework and does my dinner while I’m out working,” she praises him.
Martin jokes: “Somebody’s got to feed the family.”
Other than spending time with their four grandkids, they’re doting grandparents, they’ll be spending some time in the sun this summer.
“We’re going to head down to Greece during the summer for a few weeks, looking forward to that,” they tell us.
“We won’t stay in the one spot, we’re going to move around a bit and have a bit of fun.”
But before they get to head off, Jenny tells us: “I’ve a load of weddings to do before then!”
