“Fifty shades of wahey”: Viewers delighted by first episode of Lucy Investigates

Lucy Kennedy is back on our screens, but in a fair less wholesome manner than Living with Lucy.

The mother of three has begun her new show, Lucy Investigates, a four-part documentary where she looks into different subcultures of Irish life.

Her first stop is sex and more specifically the kink scene.

The programme, which Lucy told VIP Magazine was “not for children”, starts rather mildly with Lucy visiting a sex shop.

As soon as she walked in she admitted that she hadn’t been to one “since her Podge and Rodge days”.

She then chatted to the alleged only sexologist in Ireland before visiting dominatrix Clarity who revealed that the dominatrix scene has “doubled” since she moved to Ireland.

And it was clear that Lucy was completely new to this world.

She confessed to us: “I’m a prude. I learned I was the odd one because I am so vanilla!”

Twitter was in stitches over how embarrassed Lucy was by the whole thing.

Of course, Lucy will be back next week with a brand new topic. Alongside her foray into the world of kinks, she will be examining the world of social and what it means to live your life online, the highs and lows of cosmetic surgery and the lives of traveller women.

Lucy Investigates continues on Mondays at 9pm on Virgin Media One
