As we revealed earlier this week, Hozier will be guest of honour on this Friday’s Late Late Show, and he will chat with host Ryan Tubridy about his global success, what the last two years have been like and what’s next as he prepares for that difficult second album.
Not only that, but the show are running a competition aimed at Hozier’s biggest fans, which will give them the chance to be part of the audience that night, and ask him questions directly from their seat!
RTE have just announced, however, that Hozier will be joined by a section of other guests who look like being every bit as interesting as the Bray musician. Outspoken radio presenter and rugby pundit George Hook will turn up to no doubt continue the debate about rugby injuries, and the battle with Johnny Sexton that he’s become involved in as to whether the out half has been properly protected from the dangers of concussion.
Radio reporter Valerie Cox, who announced her retirement a few days ago, will chat to Ryan about her career, and particularly about the documentary about the refugee crisis on the greek island of KOS that she has just made for RTE. Falklands war veteran Simon Weston, whose horrific injuries made headlines for years to follow, will also be in studio and, on a lighter note, American comedian Reginald D Hunter will talk about his rise to fame on this side of the Atlantic.
With a mixture of serious issues, comedy and outstanding music, it looks like being a show not to miss…
