Tv presenter Laura Whtmore made her Strictly Come Dancing debut last night as the first show of the seaosn aired on ITV.
Laura stunned in a short, yellow dress with beading detail, and despite the fact that she likened herself to “big bird” we think she looked amazing.
When interviewed by Strictly presenter Tess Daly, the Bray native admitted that she is a huge fan of the show, and that her mum was so excited to hear that she would be taking part in the show.
“I love the show. I’ve seen every single series.
“It’s quite surreal, because I’ve watched every series, normally with my mam and if I haven’t watched it with her we normally talk on the phone about it afterwards so she’s already booked her flight to come over here for it as soon as she can,” she said.
The 31-year-old was then matched with her professional dancing partner, who will guide her throughout the series. Laura was paired with Giovani and was delighted.
After the announcement she said, “Yeah Irish and Italian, that’s going to get fiesty!
The Strictly cast performed altogether at the end of last night’s opening show, but we can’t wait to see Laura hit the dance floor for real in three weeks time!
