This weekend marks a special occasion for Kian Egan and his wife, Jodi Albert. The couple are celebrating their wedding anniversary, with today marking twelve years since they tied the knot.
At the time the pair kept their wedding incredibly private, rather than marrying here in Ireland, they jetted off to Barbados with friends and family for a relaxed beach wedding.
The wedding was covered exclusively by OK! Magazine back in 2009 and speaking with the mag at the time he revealed they had holidayed there after only a few months of dating and fell in love with Barbados; “We enjoyed the place so much we decided to have our wedding there.”
Marking the occasion today, Kian shared a couple of gorgeous snaps from their big day simply writing ’12’ followed by a love heart.
Jodi’s post today mirrored her husband’s as she too posted ’12’ followed by the same snaps of them on the beach at sunset.
This is the second time the couple have celebrated their anniversary in lockdown. Last year Kian posted; “11 years ago I married the girl of my dreams. It only feels like yesterday. Love you so much.”
