The second series of Dancing with the Stars Ireland is set to place in the new year, and tonight the full lineup has finally been revealed.
The Late Late show hosted the first sit down talk with the stars set to appear on the second series of the hugely popular dancing show, and there are some Irish favourites amongst them.
As we knew earlier in the week, 2FM radio presenter Bernard O’Shea, comedian Deirdre O’Kane and author Maia Dunphy are all confirmed to be taking to the dance floor, but they are now to be joined by some very exciting characters.
Conor McGregor’s sister Erin McGregor, RTE sports presenter Marty Morrissey and Munster rugby legend Tomas O’Leary have all been confirmed, along with country music star Jake Carter, Former Miss Ireland Aoife Walsh and Athlete of the Year, Rob Heffernan.
Rounding out the lineup are Cork Camogie star, and coach on Ireland’s Fittest Family, Anna Geary and businesswoman Norah Casey.
Speaking about the announcement, fitness model Erin McGregor said “I’m feeling nervous – I’m bricking it, I’m actually bricking it – it really is nerve wrecking.
“I took a long maternity leave so it’s great to get back out to the real world and I hope to conquer my fear about what other people think of me. I also love to dance – so this is very exciting!”
Who are you most looking forward to see put their dancing shoes on?
