Karen Koster has taken to social media to pay a heartfelt tribute to her mum on the first anniversary of her death.
Sadly, it’s been one year since the presenter’s mother passed away with Karen sharing how she hates how much her mum has missed in her life ever since.
“Been missing mum a year today. Gone so quickly, there was no time to say goodbye.
“Hate that she’s missed so much, a communion, new house, new puppy…all the news she’d love.”

Only recently, Karen opened up on the Six O’Clock Show about how her grieving period is still “so raw”.
“I feel like I just left her house yesterday with the kids, waving goodbye with a promise to tell her what Eve would like for her birthday the next week,” she continued in her post.
“A birthday she missed, but which we had in her back garden anyway.”
Karen then emphasised the importance of appreciating each day for what it is.
Writing: “Making each day count as much as possible… as life can turn on a dime, just like it did for our family, a year ago today.”
It wasn’t long before a host of friends and family came to Karen’s side, sharing their well-wishes.
“Sending you loads of love Karen xxxx” commented Amy Huberman, while Jenny McCarthy wrote: “What a lovely lady. Thinking of you and your family today.”
