Danielle Moyles has shared an emotional “full circle” moment after hosting Ireland AM alongside Karen Koster, 17 years after the pair first worked together.
The broadcaster stepped in to co-host Tuesday’s edition of the Virgin Media breakfast show alongside Alan Hughes and Karen Koster, with regular presenters Muireann O’Connell and Tommy Bowe absent from the programme.
After the show, Danielle took to Instagram to reflect on what the morning meant to her.
“A full circle moment for me guys, FINALLY getting to host a show alongside @karenkostertv 17 years later!” she wrote alongside a photo of the pair with Alan on the Ireland AM set.

Karen also shared the snap on her own Instagram Stories, reminiscing about where their friendship first began.
“Lovely sharing the screen with @daniellamoyles 17 years after Total Xposure, one of the most fun TV shows I ever worked on,” she wrote.
Praising Danielle, Karen continued: “Daniella stood out a mile from the get go!
“Anyone in their 40s remember it?”

Re-sharing Karen’s post, Danielle was quick to return the compliment, writing: “You just will not meet a warmer, kinder absolute TV PRO. Lucky to work with you!”
The pair first crossed paths on Total Xposure, TV3’s 2009 reality competition that searched for a new presenter for entertainment programme Xposé.
Hosted by Karen, the series saw ten aspiring presenters compete in a series of broadcasting challenges, with the winner securing a six-month presenting contract on Xposé.
Although Danielle impressed viewers throughout the competition, she was eliminated in week six before Sean Munsanje ultimately went on to win the series and become Xposé’s first male presenter.
