Johnny Depp ‘took a shine’ to Limerick barmaid during visit to Ireland

Johnny Depp is reported to have taken a liking to an Irish barmaid during his visit to Limerick in 1991.

The Hollywood actor was a regular in Limerick city throughout the 90’s, and bar owner Frank Murray has now revealed that the Pirates of the Caribbean star  was smitten with one of his female employees during one of his visits to Ted’s nightclub.

“He chatted to everyone in the bar, and was there to have the craic,” Frank told The Irish Daily Star.

“But he took a shine to one particular staff member, who was working that particular night,

“She was an absolutely stunning girl, really lovely and has a great personality. He came back again the following night only to find out she wasn’t working.”

The Golden Globe winner then reportedly sent a taxi to pick her up from a bar, in close-by Kilkee, Co. Clare.

The  mystery woman has never spoken publicly about the incident.
