Jeremy McConell has jetted off to Thailand, as ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis prepares to give birth.
The Irish model has furiously denied that he’s the father of the child, despite Stephanie claiming otherwise.
Jezza has admitted that after a DNA test, if is the child does happen to be his, he’ll be the best father in the world. However, as Steph nears end of the pregnancy, the Dubliner has decided fly to the other side of the world.
An insider told the Mirror, “It’s typical that Jeremy has swanned away from his responsibility as he has done throughout this pregnancy. You couldn’t write it.
“The mother of his baby is giving birth any moment and he’s jetting off to Thailand on a boozy holiday. He has shirked responsibility throughout the whole process so we should hardly be shocked now.
“Stephanie is not bothered in the slighted. She has all her friends and family around her so she’s very content as she is waiting for the big day to come.”
A source close to Jeremy has insisted that if the child is born over the coming days, he’ll be right back to the UK to be by Steph’s side.
“Jeremy has tried to contact Steph on a number of occasions but he hasn’t heard back. If he is the father, then of course he is going to step up do the right thing.
“He has an open return ticket should he need to return to the UK before the end of his trip.”
Rumours were rife last week that Stephanie had already welcomed the baby to the world, however nothing was confirmed.
