Jennifer Zamparelli has shared a hilarious throwback snap of her mum, and it’s easy to see where she got the inspiration for her much loved character, Bridget.
Jennifer debuted the Irish mammy character on her hit sitcom Republic of Telly, before branching out with a spin off show, Bridget and Eamon, and now we all know where she got the inspiration.
Sharing the throwback, Jennifer noted that all her mam was missing were a certain few props, and she’d basically be Bridget.
“Just found this told pic,” she said. “My Ma aka Bridget!!! All she needs is the fag and glasses #BridgetAndEamon.”
Her picture sharing comes shortly after Jennifer opened up about the difficulties of working on the show.
