There’s no better time to visit New York than over the Christmas period and that’s exactly what Jennifer Zamparelli and her family did.

Yes, Jennifer and her husband Lau along with their two children jetted off to the Big Apple for a magical festive holiday and now she’s sharing what exactly they got up to.

Taking to Instagram the 2FM presenter posted a behind-the-scenes reel of their trip away, and let’s just say we wish we were there with them!

While Jennifer explained how they were lucky enough to stay mostly with family, they were able to sneak away on a fancy two-night hotel break, which she couldn’t help gush about.

The presenter then shared some tips for those who hope to travel to New York in the near future, some of which included booking everywhere in advance and walking as much as you can.

“We avoided the subway because to be honest I prefer to walk,” she admitted.

“We did around 17000 steps a day and didn’t feel one of them (ok a lil tuk tuk ride to the museum helped).”

Jennifer then shared what exactly they got up starting with some restaurant recommendations, before moving on to the fun stuff.

“We’re mad for hats so popped in Lids hat shop in Times Square. You can even get your initials on it as you wait,” she shared.

Continuing, Jennifer wrote: “Bryant Park for ice skating! Booked in advance and went early. I found it a lot calmer to Central Park which was crazy.”

As well as the above, they also attended The Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall which the kids loved, visited the Empire Diner in West Village and indulged in some fancy hot chocolate at GLACE by Noglu.

White it was a pretty seamless trip, Jennifer and Lau found themselves having to explain the weed shops to their daughter Florence as they kept popping up.

Adding: “It’s pretty discreet and most bongs look like dust collectors anyway so you can always say the yoda bong in the window is a toy for grandad!

That’s one way of looking at it!
