Hollywood’s leading man Jamie Dornan will be making his golfing debut at the JP McManus Pro-Am at Adare Manor in Limerick this summer.
The Down native is no stranger to the game having competed in 2017’s Irish Open Pro-Am before but this will be his first time playing at the iconic JP McManus Pro-Am.
Organisers are thrilled to have him, saying; “Holywood, Co Down is an apt birthplace for Dornan, who has seen his big-screen career skyrocket in recent years following his portrayal of Christan Grey in the Fifty Shades trilogy.”

Continuing; “Dornan has previously competed at the Irish Open Pro-Am 2017 in Portstewart but makes his debut at the JP McManus Pro Am.”
“Like most competitors, no doubt Dornan will be excited by the challenge of the Tom Fazio-redesigned course.”
Jamie will playing against some big names like Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Niall Horan and Mark Wahlberg at the event.
It will take place from the 4th to the 5th of July.
Jamie and his fellow celebs were set to compete in the tournament back in 2020, but it was cancelled due to Covid lockdowns.
Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Niall Horan and Mark Wahlberg were all apart of the original lineup, with the only person from the 2020 schedule who was unable to attend this year being Hugh Grant.
Best of luck to all competing!
