Jake Carter has revealed that he was involved in a car crash ahead of the Dancing with the Stars final.
The singer was in the car with his manager Conor Mulhall when they were involved in an accident when a campervan collided with their vehicle.
Gardai were called to the scene on Wednesday and thankfully no one was injured.
Explaining the incident, Jake told the Sun “We were just leaving Conor’s office when this campervan came out of a side road and crashed into us.
“Nobody was injured but there was quite a bit of damage to Conor’s car.”
The 19-year-old explained that it complicated his very busy schedule, which involves rehearsing for the final of Dancing with the Stars, which he is second favourite to win.
“It knocked my whole day off because I was late for the school I was visiting, and then late to meet up with my dance partner Karen for rehearsals,” he said.
Jake recently thanked his Irish fans for the support he has received while on DWTS.
“It’s crazy, I can’t believe that I’m there,” he told the Late Late Show.
“It’s kind of mental because I guess all the other contestants that were on it are all originally from Ireland. I’m originally from Liverpool, I moved over to Ireland a year ago now.
“It’s kind of just unbelievable, the support that I’ve got and people have just got behind me so it’s great to see.”
