Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander walked the red carpet together for the first time this week. The couple were promoting their new film, The Light Between Oceans.
The film is about a married couple who are desperately trying to have a baby, and at the premiere of the flick Kerry native Michael hinted that himself and Alicia could be starting a family soon.
When asked on the red carpet if playing a husband and family man was a rehearsal for real life, the 39-year-old responded, “Everything is a rehearsal.”
Swedish native Alicia Vikander plays a pregnant woman in the emotional film and on the red carpet she said that it was a challenge.
Although she hasn’t experienced carrying a child yet, she did admit that she would like to have children in the future.
“I’m not a mother and it was the one biggest challenge in this film.
I always imagined having a family in the future, but I sit there imagining half the women in the audience thinking, ‘She doesn’t really know what it’s like’,” she said.
