Is Livin’ With Lucy back? It seems so. YAY!

She did hint that there was something exciting on the cards after the axing of TV3’s Blind Date and we think we now might know what that is.

Lucy Kennedy has hinted that ‘Livin With Lucy’ might be making a return to our screens and it’s a prospect she’s extremely happy about.

“I loved it”, she told The Harald, “that’s where my heart will always lie. I think it could work on TV3, but it’s one of a few projects.”

“Livin’ With Lucy” first aired in 2008 and saw the Seven O’Clock host spend a weekend living with different celebrities in their homes.

Celebrities who gave her a bed included Jade Goody, Samantha Mumba, Brian Mc Fadden, Calum Best and Senator David Norris.

Although Lucy originally spoke about her happiness at hosting Blind Date, she did admit that the pressure might have been too much.

“In hindsight, it was probably massive pressure because there’s only one Blind Date host, which is obviously Cilla Black, and I think I would’ve been directly compared to her,” she said.

Adding “we don’t have the same budgets and I would’ve hated for it to have looked like a cheaper version.”
