As if we couldn’t love Imelda May anymore, the Rockabilly singer was spotted helping a homeless man as she strolled around Dublin city.
The RTE star was snapped while she enjoyed a shopping trip and stopped to give a homeless man some money – we can’t imagine many celebrities doing the same!
The singer was previously involved with The Man In Hat Music To Help Homeless People initiative, the world’s biggest collection of autographed Irish music in aid of those sleeping rough.
Imelda was wearing her signature style on her day out in the city yesterday, complete with quiffed hair and leather jacket. Noticeably missing was her wedding ring, after recently splitting with husband of 13 years Darrel Higham.
Speaking about the marriage breakdown, she said: “As you can imagine we are very sad but happy we’re making the right decision for us and our daughter who is doing really well by the way.
“No matter what you hear and read my husband and I have the deepest love and respect for each other and are doing well.”
