Never say never, folks!
Yes, back in the day, Jennifer Zamparelli and Bernard O’Shea had us howling at the hit comedy series that was Bridget and Eamon.
And since the show came to an end back in 2019, fans have all been wondering the same thing…
Could there be a reboot in the works?
Telling the Irish Mirror, Bernard said that he would never rule the idea out.
“With Jen, we always said never say never but it would be difficult now.
“Life gets in the way. It would probably be difficult now.
“But we’ve never said no to Bridget and Eamon again. We’ve always said if there’s interest or if something happens, we’ll do it.”
Continuing on he said: “You never know but at the moment no, there is nothing happening in terms of we’re not talking about a reboot, we’re not talking about a film.
“There was talk a few years ago about a musical but I’m not sure if that is going to happen now. But never say never.”
Written by Bernard, Jennifer and Jason Butler, the show, which is set in the 1980s, starred Jennifer as housewife Bridget and Bernard as her hapless husband Eamon.
